We have been to Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare on Teachers' Day, November 24, with our students. The play is put on stage by the State Theater in a historical building which also serves as Tekel Museum and Culture Center located in Üsküdar, Paşalimanı. The renowned playwright, William Shakespeare, whose works we study and admire in our department tells a story of lovers whose families are enemies. The famous playwirght shows us how love can conquer hearts of two enemies and the story goes around this theme. We also admired the wonderful performance of the State actors and actresses.
